HazMat and Retreads

The question is often asked: 

                       Can retreaded tires be used on vehicles carrying hazardous materials (HazMat)?

                       The answer is, YES.

There are no federal regulations restricting the use of retreaded tires on vehicles hauling hazardous materials.
