Tire Repair

Section repairs may take more time to perform than they're worth.

This is the 2nd of the two articles listed, from the August 2002 MTD, "Section repairs may take more time to perform than they're worth". Section repair requires attention to detail as well as incredible eye-hand coordination. These two articles were written by Kevin Rohlwing, Senior vice president of training and technical services for the Tire Industry Association/TIA. The first of these two articles from the July 2002, MTD is titled "Basic nail hole repairs". The most important component of a passenger or light truck repair is removing the tire from the wheel. See listing.

From August 2002 MTD, entitled "Section repairs may take more time to perform than they're worth".  Used with permission.
